The Paramount and Moore Theatres Warn Consumers of Unauthorized Ticket-Selling Vendors
Seattle Theatre Group (STG) wishes to caution theatre patrons about purchasing tickets from unauthorized vendors for all engagements at The Paramount & Moore Theatres. Third-party ticket vendors are utilizing the venue names, likeness, images and artist/event information creating confusion for patrons, often charging ticket fees higher than the intended ticket price and sometimes selling invalid or counterfeit tickets.
While re-selling tickets is legal in the City of Seattle, unauthorized third party sellers frequently offer consumers ticket prices three to four times higher than the official ticket price and authorized fees. Consumers who purchase these tickets not only pay higher prices, but in some cases run the risk of buying invalid tickets.
The only official authorized means of purchasing tickets at The Paramount and Moore Theatres are detailed below:
- The Paramount Theatre Official Web Site - www.theparamount.com
- The Paramount Theatre Box Office - Located at the corner of 9th Avenue and Pine Street (Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)
